The Accountant 2 (2025)

In the scene where we see the shot of a cat in the back of a truck in Juarez, Mexico, prior to filming trainers brought the cat to the set and placed him on the side of the truck bed. On action, they filmed the cat naturally exploring the area.

In the scene where actors are riding in a bus and one of the actors tells the bus driver to stop, gets off the bus and reenters holding the cat from the prior scene, prior to shooting trainers showed the actor how to handle the cat. The trainers also discussed with production how fast the bus should be moving with the cat inside of it. They agreed to a particular speed.

In the scene where the actor drives the bus while the cat sits in the backseat, prior to shooting the scene the lead actors took their position in the front seat. The trainer made sure the cat was in position in the back. During the scene, the truck was gently rocked by the crew to make it look like they were driving on rocky terrain. The cat remained in the backseat, relaxing. Trainers checked in on the cat between takes.
