Animal Action
In the scene where the man and woman ride the motorcycle in the Moroccan marketplace escaping pursuers, and we see two men with a donkey and carriage in the background, the donkeys were harnessed to small carts. The donkeys wore bridles with snaffle bits. The donkeys and their handlers were at a safe distance from the motorcycles and general action.
In the scene where the actor gets out of the cab and we see an extra with a dog on a leash in the background, the set was closed off to traffic. The experienced background actor and dog rehearsed their path at a walk a few times to familiarize the dog with her path.
Due to limited resources, American Humane Association did not monitor any of the pug action.
